Welcome to 8th Grade Science! 

I am Ms. Paleologo, and I am so excited to share my love of science with you this year. A little about me: I graduated from Wellesley College with a degree in Biology in 2011. As a student at Wellesley, I had some great opportunities to study abroad and spent time studying the rainforest in Australia (I know a LOT about cane toads!) and Costa Rica (I also know a LOT about golden orb weaving spiders!) After graduating, I spent a year teaching middle school science and math through Americorps in Dorchester. I then spent some time working for a scientific journal in Cambridge and then two years extracting DNA from human tissue samples in a lab at Boston University. Lab work, however, was lonely and I realized that I really missed teaching! So I went back to school and I just graduated from Simmons College with a Master's degree (I'm a MASTER!) in teaching.
